There is a tremendous amount of information available in books and online about how to become a consultant. However, much of this information is generic and intended for broad audiences. As such, it lacks the answers to specific questions that new consultants often have.
The idea behind Consulting Transitions is simple: to provide practical information to government workers looking to make the transition to independent consulting. While others new to consulting field will find merit to the information here, the focus of this group is to help leverage the many years of public sector experience that our members have.
Consulting Transitions offers several ways for you to gain the information you need:
- First and foremost, we offer our members an opportunity to engage with each other in a safe environment in our members-only forum. In the forum, members are free to seek advice and to learn from each other’s experiences.
- You can also learn from the experience of the group moderator, Lucien Canton, a practicing consultant, through a series of members only blogs. Have a specific question? Send it to Lucien and he will do his best to answer it in a future posting.
- We also offer an exclusive resource library of forms and example documents.
- All members are also eligible for discounts on any webinars and educational products we may offer.
Consulting Transitions is intended to help you jump start your business and avoid costly mistakes that can keep you from being successful. Why not give it a try? Just click on the link below to be transferred to our membership page.
